Apple’s iPad may not have impressed many (at least me) because its nothing but the bigger version of the iPod Touch. There are few cool things about the iPad which are Photos app, minor tweaks on Youtube and other apps. One of the newest and cool add-ons was its iBooks and iWorks apps specifically designed for iPad. Many of us appreciated iBooks interface and even I loved the interface of iBooks, even I don’t like reading but still I love its interface. But iBooks were already there since long back on AppStore for iPhone by the name ‘Classics’.
Classics is the app which inspired Apple’s iBooks, its not inspired from Classics but Apple completely copied its interface, Only thing that Apple did was that they integrated BookStore support with Classics and from where you can purchase ebooks which will be added on your Book shelf where as Classics is limited to some few 10-15 books, few new books were added on recent updates.
Classics interface is awesome, and when you flip pages it will give you the impression that you are really flipping pages on physical book. I must say that you will really a much nicer book reading experience on your iPhone/iTouch. Classics comes with a collection of classic literary masterpieces like Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Guliver’s Travel, The Time machine and so on.
If you want to experience the feel of iBooks on your iPhone/iTouch, then Classics is for you. It takes digital reading to the next level.
